Silver Labs are pure bred Labrador retrievers. They have been around for many years in the USA. They are more common in Candada now as breeders have become more educated in genetics and how they specifically work in relation to breeding and coat color.
Black is dominant - Yellow & Chocolate are resessive - Silver is double resessive
